this tiny and beautiful nest with a perfect blue robin's egg lives happily under the slide

this series of poppy at the park and zoo were taken on her first day out of the house with big-girl-undies and NO DIAPERS!!!

year-round cardinal beauties

poppy's self photos....it is amazing how she knows how to operate the camera and how she manages to capture really great shots...we will still have to work on the 'half way down to focus'

Fish fry. just about everyone around these parts partakes in the go out to enjoy Fish Fry...we did ours at home

A bird hits the window....again. The poor little birdie was found like this... unlike the other one where we unfortunately had to witness his fate.
Greg submitted this picture for another photo contest to Upper Playground. This is the same site where we won (our first big wins!!) two Obama Prints back in November.

The kids drug the big red bucket of balls from the garage, up the grassy hill, clear to the backyard then invented a Sunday morning game that kept them occupied for quite some time. We think it is so cool that they get along so well and can come up with things to do on their own.

We made the fort part of the play structure into a covered fort by thumb-tacking a sheet over the top. The kids played throughtout the day in it...climbing up and down, eating snacks and reading magazines in their little hide-out.

Have a great week!
Congratulations Poppy (and Mama & Papa)! What a big accomplishment. Great pictures...love the Robin's nest. Yay for spring and forts!
ReplyDeleteThe bye bye birdie pic is seriously the funniest thing I've seen in a while. It's sad about the bird, but the picture was a treat.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for the peek into your lives! I loved, again, all the pictures! That robin-egg blue is absolutely my favorite color...mmmmm! The fort looks like a really fun place to plqy, and I'll bet it will happen again!
ReplyDeleteLove you all!

What to do about the poor birds and your window?! And how impressive Poppy is all around :)
ReplyDeleteHi JJ! Your pictures of the kids makes me excited to have a sibling for Charlotte.
ReplyDeleteLove this post full of ramblings...the bird, no diapers, forts and such. Life looks great for you and that makes me so happy. xo
